Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for Last Alarm. Our goal is transparency and fair handling in case of technical issues.

Overview

  • Any payable amount is shown clearly before confirmation.
  • Users can cancel or modify commitments before the scheduled time (see rules below).
  • Refunds are reviewed case-by-case for verified technical issues or service outages.

Cancellation

Users may cancel or modify a scheduled commitment before the scheduled time according to the rules shown at setup. The Service will present applicable windows (e.g., “cancel until 6 hours before the scheduled time”).

If you cannot cancel due to a technical error, contact support as soon as possible.

Refunds

Because the Service records outcomes based on your schedule and the 100m movement requirement, refunds are not guaranteed for normal outcomes.

Common cases not eligible for refunds include:

  • Failure to meet the 100m movement requirement
  • Missing the alarm or notification
  • Inability to operate due to device power off, battery depletion, etc.
  • Inability to confirm conditions or record results due to lack of internet connection on the user's device
  • Impacts caused by user disabling location settings, denying permissions, or limiting accuracy
  • Reduced positioning accuracy due to the usage environment (signal conditions, indoors, underground, etc.)

However, we will review refund requests for:

  • Verified system outages affecting outcome recording
  • Payment processing errors (duplicate charges, incorrect amount, etc.)
  • Verified location-service failures that materially affected evaluation

If approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method where possible.

Disputes

If you believe a charge or outcome is incorrect, contact support with:

  • Your account email
  • Date/time of the commitment
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Any relevant screenshots (optional)

We may request additional details to investigate (e.g., device settings, permission state).

Subscriptions (if applicable)

If the Service offers subscriptions, billing cycles, cancellation timing, and any prorations will be disclosed at purchase. Users can cancel future renewals at any time; access remains until the end of the billing period unless otherwise stated.
